‘The Crow’ delivers a fresh take on the classic. While I enjoyed the original movie more, I think this film has good editing and an immersive narrative. The film is a reimagining of the original characters of Eric and Shelly. The action scenes are well-choreographed as well. The film delves deep into themes of love and vengeance, weaving an emotional tapestry that resonates.
Bill Skarsgård’s performance as Eric Draven is noteworthy, capturing both the character’s depth and dimension. I think Skarsgård is consistently good in all his recent roles.
The cinematography was great – the use of light and shadow was done well.
