“A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin” was an awesome experience! The event consisted of a special screening of the timeless classic, ‘Home Alone’, followed by a moderated interview and Q&A with Macaulay Culkin.
Culkin became a household name with his role as Kevin McCallister in ’Home Alone’. It was awesome to revisit the iconic scenes from ‘Home Alone’ on the big screen, and then discuss the behind-the-scenes stories and insights with Culkin himself.
Culkin talked about his experiences while filming, his co-stars, and his take on why this film has become such a beloved holiday classic.
During the talk I noted a few key things that I wanted to share:
- What was his favorite holiday movie as a kid? A Christmas Story
- Which ‘Home Alone’ movie is his favorite? Part 1
- Would he make another ‘Home Alone’ movie? YES
I was lucky enough to get a VIP ticket including a personal post-show photo opportunity. He was very friendly, and it was the ultimate holiday blast from my childhood.
