From the first scene, the series pulls you in, weaving a narrative filled with twists and turns that keeps the viewer in suspense. This series has an impeccable script, relentless pacing, and a roller coaster of emotions. The cinematography is haunting and plays off the various episodic moods.
The acting was raw and visceral. Richard Gadd takes us on a deep dive into a dark, emotional, psychologically harrowing experience, sharing his true story with the utmost vulnerability. Jessica Gunning also does a fantastic job.
