‘Catch Me If You Can’ is a fantastic film that is fast paced and grips your attention from start to finish. The movie has a charming animated title sequence, featuring John Williams’s score and flows through the gifted craftsman of Steven Spielberg.
Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Frank Abagnale, Jr., a real-life teen-aged con man that was able to steal millions with forged checks while successfully impersonating an airline pilot, a doctor and a lawyer, among other guises. Leo is great in this role! Tom Hanks is also fantastic was he plays a F.B.I. agent who is at first comically tricked by the criminal genius however, the agent is steadfast and relentless to catch the criminal.
The movie is filled with solid supporting performances, starting with Hanks and continuing on with Nathalie Baye, Amy Adams, Martin Sheen, Ellen Pompeo, Jennifer Garner, and Christopher Walken.
On the whole, ‘Catch Me If You Can’ is a cinematic Masterpiece!
