‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ is a visually dynamic experience with fantastic world-building, intense action sequences/stunts, stunning visuals, and a captivating storyline.
Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of the antagonist, Dementus, is authentic and menacing. Hemsworth stole the show in my opinion – he has a chameleon-like ability to change characters and mannerisms showcasing excellent acting craftsmanship. Anya Taylor-Joy’s performance was also incredible, highlighting her strength and vulnerability.
This film has top tier storytelling and pacing. The first, second and third chapters created an amazing world-building experience. The fourth and fifth chapters are full of tension and suspense.
The cinematography is personified and is a character in and of itself. Reminiscent of ‘Dune’, there are dynamic camera shots and grand, massive landscapes with stunning sand dunes.
I recommend seeing this on the big screen as the visuals are fantastic. Overall, this movie is a great combination of action and storytelling that resonates with humankind’s indomitable spirit.
