Did you know that ‘The Exorcist’ is celebrating its 50th anniversary?!
While I was in DC, I visited a few filming locations for this movie. Swipe to see
The famous Exorcist house can be found on 3600 Prospect Street, Georgetown, Washington DC.
In October and November 1972, scenes for the movie, The Exorcist, were filmed at sites on or close to the Georgetown University campus.
The Exorcist steps (descending from the corner of Prospect St and 36th St NW) were featured in the scene where Father Karras fell to his death down the steps from a nearby house. A plaque recognizes the steps as a D.C. landmark and an important piece of the city’s movie history.
If you are ever in the DC area, check out this cool filming location!
