I’ve seen 6 episodes of ‘The Sympathizer’ and the last episode will air May 26, 2024. I am totally looking forward to it!
HBO’s The Sympathizer takes Viet Thanth Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and crafts a script that amplifies the history of the Vietnam war. HBO gives the audience a multi-faceted point of view of this time frame.
Robert Downey Jr. is brilliant in this series. All the other cast members are also awesome.
The series is interesting, intense and some twists adding a cool vibe within the spy genre. The execution is incredibly intelligent and powerful.
The Sympathizer has hallmarks that are classic clues that this series is done by Park Chan-wook. I really enjoy his filmography.
I highly recommend watching!
